Often when I tell people i’m a designer by trade, they automatically think I’m great at drawing, good at art and all that. Well, I’m certainly not bad, but what I do know is that part of being a great ‘creative’ is knowing when to work with a specialist.

Great creativity is always about partnerships… copywriter and art director, designer and photographer, creative director and illustrator - we thrive on other’s talents, it’s the only way. Heck, look at Lennon and McCartney!

And when it comes to drawing, or rather illustration to give it it’s proper name, there’s some truly amazing talent out there to work with, and such a great diversity of styles. Take a look at this lady’s wonderful work, it may look simple but to get it to work as it does requires real craft. Now if her illustrations wouldn’t lift a project I don’t know what would.
