Good design shouldn’t just belong to those with the money to afford it. Here’s a great example of fantastic design for affordable housing for young families, in Slovenia of all places.

With our government announcing a new program of social housing recently, wouldn’t it be great to think they would engage the design community in breaking the mould and introducing some truly inspiring living spaces, instead of yet more square brick boxes. If they’re doing it in Slovenia, it’s about time Britain, with it’s massively talented creative industry took a lead as well. Come on Gordon.
