Laying down a marker

Good ideas aren’t born on the Mac, they need space to roam, freedom to move, and, well… a bit of er… randomness.

For my money you can’t beat a play with some good old fashioned felt pens.

We recently held a brainstorm for a new project, and out came the markers. First we started with just black and grey pens (as things were at an early stage), but as our ideas evolved we rewarded ourselves with some lovely colours, and we really began to see the ideas come to life.

We figured we could gloss it all up on the Mac for the client, but hey, we wanted them to feel the same sense of creativity in action as we did. So we left them in all their scribbly glory, and the client loved them.

Sometimes less is more. So listen out for the ‘squeaky’ sound of imagination at work, it’s a sure sign of genuine creativity.

PS We obviously do use a Mac as well, but all in good time.
