Dandy are on the move soon to new offices, we need a bit more space for all our ideas! So we’ve been on the prowl for some bits and bobs to help give the place a bit of a Dandy feel, working on the basis of something old, something new, to give it a bit of character. But we’ve been struggling to find just the right thing, so it was time to get some help.
My brother Tom is a craftsman of the highest order, with wood being his medium of choice (normally I’d drop in the web link to his website here, but he’s far too busy doing great work to have got a website yet). He’s been producing beautifully crafted joinery for years - frankly it makes the work we do in print and digital media seem pretty mundane when compared to selecting and crafting a lovely piece of wood.
We’ve commissioned him to produce two distinctive Dandy tables for us to beaver away on all day… can’t wait to see them. Just got to check we can get them into the new offices now!
