Getting spotted

I went and did my bit on Sunday and cheered my friends running the Robin Hood half marathon.

It’s funny what you notice when you spend an hour clapping a constant stream of runners - like how many Santas, Scoobys or Robins you’ve spotted so far.

But it was interesting to see everyone running in their charity shirts (good for them), but even more interesting to see which one’s stood out in the hoards of runners.

I happened to notice ‘Tommy’s’, a charity I’d never heard of before, but with a lovely fresh, modern identity. It really caught my eye amongst all the others for it’s clarity, so they must be doing something right.

It made me wonder how many charities are really making the most of these fantastic little running adverts, and are they using them as creatively as possible?
