Back to the future

Trends, weird things, no rhyme or reason to them, but you gotta love ‘em.

I read with interest how in Japan - don’t all cool trends start there these days? - with digital cameras becoming so ubiquitous and almost disposable, that the youth (they know best) are turning back to film and 35mm to ‘keep it real’ and reconnect with creativity.

Consequently someone has spotted a gap in the market and is set to launch this little gem above - I want one already - old school idea meets modern design, perfect, all I need now is the velvet cape head cover.

This is not the first trend to shun all things modern and easy and create a market that eschews this in favour of a more tactile emotional interaction with the user - long may it continue.
